Quantity Of Pages Blogging

I was thinking about what it takes to make money blogging, part of it is quantity of pages, the more pages you have in the search engines the more hit your going to get. That’s just the way it works.

It seems reasonable I could increase my quantity and get it up to a couple pages a day. Then I read this at problogger.net:

• I know that using Ecto during the Olympic games enabled me to post over 100 posts per day on our Olympics Blog.

I was happy when I got my count up to 1 or 2 per day. Now I find out this guy is cranking out over 100 per day.

On a different site I read about an interview Darren did:

• Darren: I have a blogging system where I have daily posting goals. I aim for 25 posts per day - ie 25 new pages of content to my blogs each day which means I am aiming to add over 9000 pages of content each year. Some days I do up to 50 posts.

I was not thinking about over 100 pages a day. Funny how that works, I am sure that if I ever have a day with 100 posts in it, I will be reading about how times have changed and the good bloggers are doing over 1000 pages a day.

Making money blogging is not easy money. If you love writing and blogging then it may not seem like hard work to you.

I have to go sit down, just thinking about 100 posts a day is making me tired.
