Making Money With Domain Names

I am always interested in people who are making money online, I just stumbled across an article about a guy who is making 2 million a year from type in traffic.

That is some serious money.

He makes it sound like it is not that much work, and after you get a hold of a domain name then someone else takes care of every thing else. I like that. No employees.

There is one thing I have always done to make money, and that is find someone who is making the kind of money your interested in and then just do exactly what they are doing.

I really had no idea there was such big money in domain names.  I stopped looking at them last year when Google figured out that their traffic was running up the prices of expired domain names.  What Google did was started putting a ban on every domain name that expires for about a year.

That means that you will get zero traffic from Google even if the domain name was a page rank 10 before.  This really makes a bid difference how much an expired domain name is worth in terms of traffic.
