Mark Cuban - Thoughts From A Billionaire

Mark Cuban has a great blog at blog maverick.  Anytime you can get direct information from a billionaire you should go for it.  I love to read his stuff, even if it’s on some topic that I have no interest in… How often do I get to follow along with a billionaires thoughts?  
Not very often.

Anyway, his last post was about who has higher standards bloggers or the NY Times Newspaper.

This got me thinking that I put things on my blog mostly for a reference for my later use.  That’s the primary function, I am always reading back over the titles looking for some information that I know I had a few months ago but can’t find anywhere else.

I make a few cents with the Adsense ads but that’s not the primary function of this blog.  So I have no deadlines to keep or pressure to deliver anything, therefore anything included here is something that I may want to remind myself of in the future.  

For me to make up something would be counter productive since I may read it again in the future and mislead myself.  So with the NY Times most of their stuff is good, but some of it is inspired by deadlines.  On the other hand, if I am interested in something I can spend weeks or years following up on it and if no one reads what I write I don’t really care because it’s main purpose is to just be there incase I need to refer back to it later.
