Review of Affiliate Marketing Programs
I just signed up for another affiliate program, I must have signed up for 100 of these.
When I first started thinking about trying to make some money with a web site my first idea was to try an affiliate marketing program.
So I did, I tried dozens of them. With a new web site you don’t get a lot of traffic, and most affiliate programs have some kind of minimum.
I still have $4.00 on a site that requires $100 before they will send you a check. I have had the $4.00 for about a year now so in another 25 years I may get that check.
I lost count of the sites I have signed up for, I have probably lost the passwords for a bunch of them too.
My first check has not arrived yet and I have been waiting for a year and a half. The most I have at any one site is $49.00 and of course 9 out of 10 of them are at $0.00.
You can probably imagine that I am not thrilled with affiliate marketing, I think it is possible to make some money this way, but for the average person I think there are other ways to make money that work better.
With Adsense you can combine your income from more than one website, and you only have to sign up once this is a big advantage.

It is in Swedish so probably not so much help to you, but you will get a feel for how it can look. Well it can probably look a lot better, since I am not a HTML wizard.
It is not like I have become a millionare through it, but I have eraned a two figure income :D
