What To Tell Your Credit Card Company
Many people are wondering what to tell your credit card companies.
First thing you need to do is download any history you can get a hold of from your accounts at Stormpay and 12DailyPro. Take screen shots and then also copy and paste into a file. It may help you to prove your case that your money was taken.
If you deposited money from your credit card into Stormpay and it never reached 12DailyPro then:
Call your credit card company and tell them – You sent a payment through a payment processor and had an agreement that they would deliver the money to 12DailyPro and they failed to provide you with the service that you agreed to. Stormpay also will not respond to your attempts to request a refund. Since they failed to deliver the service agreed to and they refuse to issue a refund then you are entitled to a charge back on your credit card.
That one is simple, but if 12DailyPro sent funds to Stormpay and then you didn’t receive them, then your in a little bit different situation and you have 2 angles to work, I am not sure which one would work better, you can decided…
- Try to tie the original transfer from Stormpay to 12DailyPro then back from 12DailyPro to Stormpay to you all as one transaction. Then they failed the 2nd half of the transaction so you would be entitled to your original deposit back. The problem it is if they say that was two separate transactions and the first one was completed.
- Illegal activity route, Stormpay has announced that 12DailyPro was conducting illegal activity and Stormpay was acting on 12DailyPro’s behalf transferring money for them. Therefore Stormpay was involved in illegal activity and you should be entitled to a refund since a company involved in illegal activity has taken and kept your money.
You can call your credit card company first and ask them what their policy is on getting a refund for misrepresentation or failure to perform, and if the money was used for illegal purposes, obviously any credit card company is going to say they are not supporting illegal activity so they may have a policy that if you find out you can get a charge back.
This is going to depend a little on how you explain the situation and your credit card company’s attitude about going after refunds.
