eBay Making Money Online Email

I just got another email from eBay, or it looks like it was from eBay anyway.

It tells me that the shipping is $5600 and it is being charged to my paypal account.  Obviously they want me to click on the link and try and log into eBay or paypal and then they will have my account information.  I get 10 or 15 of these everyday so I guess someone is making money with this email opportunity.

It is hard for me to believe that anyone would fall for this, but I have noticed a steady increase in the number of these emails I have received so I guess they must be working or people would not be sending them out.  

Since people are making money online with this technique you need to be careful and never go to a website from an email you receive.

I have one computer for email and internet surfing and a separate computer for anything related to making money or paying money online.  This way I don’t have to worry about the key logging programs or any other things that people come up with.

My cousin just sent me an email telling me how some poor person in Africa needs their help to transfer 20 million dollars, and wanted to know if this was a good idea to help them.  

I have to stop laughing here for a minute…

if you really think that someone is going to give you 40% of 20 million to use your bank account, well you don’t get out much.  This is probably the second most popular email I get.  There must be people making money online with this one too because I seem to be getting more and more of these emails also.

I told my cousin to hold out for at least 75% and don’t bother with anything less than 50 million dollars. I get about a dozen of these a day…. I picture 100’s of rich business men’s and political leader’s family’s trying to get all those millions out of their country.

If they only had a bank account in the US to send the money to.

I never though anyone really believed those, until my cousin asked what to do about it…
