Simpleology day Three
Simpleology - today I found out that if you click the box that says "Remember Me" then you still have to log back in the next day,
Also another strike is that Firefox does not keep the password. So I think Hotmail has already deleted my junk mail by now so the password is probably gone and that means I have no way to login today.
Too bad, because I probably would have had another look at their website, but I probably won't take the trouble to sign up again, or try to go through the trouble of getting a new password sent to me.
I guess if you like the site then you can change your password to something like "abc" then you can remember it and type it in each time.
One more problem I have is that with just the limited amount of time I spent on the site I think I had 15 or 20 things typed in for my "ToDo" list. Well now they are gone, never to be seen again, and if I had really spent any time then I would have a list with hundreds of things on it.
This brings up the problem of security, and backups. How can I be sure that their website will be there tomorrow. I have already been all through this with the hosting sites, when they go out of business it causes a lot of extra work for me.
If I spend tons of hours entering all my hopes, dreams, and To Do lists on this thing then wake up one morning and find them gone, I would not be a happy camper, if there was some easy way to make a backup of everything I have typed into the site on my computer. Say when you log out it asks you if you want to store everything in a text file.
Then I would feel more secure knowing I could take the information and start using it with a word processor or something.
Anyway, it was a very interesting site, and I probably would have listened to more of the videos in my free time (if I could get logged back on somehow).
