Wells Fargo Bank and their New ATM Machines

Yesterday I went to Wells Fargo and I don't usually use their ATM machines, but I happen to make a deposit.

Wells Fargo has made several changes since the last time I used an ATM.

For one there are no envelopes, which I like. I just put the check in and it read the amount off the check, and it happened to get the amount right which was something.

So it was nice that I didn't have to enter the amount of the check, then I got the best surprise of all, it asked me if I wanted a copy of the check on my receipt.

I really wanted to see how this worked, so I said yes, and the ATM spits out a receipt with a small copy of the check on it.

This is really great for me, because half the time I end up at the end of the month with a fist full of deposit slips and I have no idea what it was for or why I made that deposit.

Now, I can just have a copy of the check put on each receipt and then there it is, when I find a deposit receipt I can see the check I deposited and I will know what it was for.

I doubt I will ever use a teller to make a deposit again, from now on I want copies of all the checks I deposit on my deposit receipts.
