making money online |
The number one time waster this year for me.I have been watching Ebay for about a year now, I have seen a lot of sites up for sale. 99.9% of them are really junk. For example:
I find it really hard to believe that people still fall for this stuff. And the Garage Sale websites, I have seen several hundreds of these sold...How do p Then the screen shots of all the money they made yesterday, this is so lame. If they were making $900 per day would they really sell their site for .99 cents? The only thing more funny than they screen shots of all the money they make are the projected earnings. If you just get 1 person to sign up evey 10 minutes, you will be rich. Sure you will, but the odds are your site will not get 1 sign up in the next year. I have seen 2 or 3 adult sites sell for a couple hundred bucks, if you didn't know anything about html. This is probably not a bad deal. Other than that it's mostly people trying to rip you off with a free template site and a bunch of lies about how much they have made with the site. I just found a good one, someone got their site listed on Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Easy if you already have a site these spiders are visiting, about 10 minutes worth of work. Then they put a link that says "SEARCH GOOGLE" the search is for their site name, and they are listed Number One. Then they say listed number one in all 3 major search engines. And then they just need 2 stupid people who don't know that every site is number one when your search for your own URL. I have seen several people ripped off for $300 or more this way.I have decided to stop watching Ebay in the hopes of buying a web site at any kind of a deal. If anyone actually has a web site with some actual traffic, and they really have made a couple bucks off the site. Then they usually start the price around 1 million, sometime 2 million. I have never seen one of these sites sell, it's probably a little easier to cheat someone out of $300 than it is to cheat them out of $1,000,000 of their hard earned money. On the other hand, I have purchased a couple domain names from Ebay, one I think could be worth $40 or more and I only paid $20 for it. May 8, 2005
