Ideas about making money |
Interpoker.comI signed up for this site because of the sign up bonus, it changes every couple months but you usually get around 50% up to around $100 which is a good bonus. The bonus money is placed in a bonus account and only released when you have met the play requirements. Which means you do have to play with your own money to clear the bonus. So you need to keep that in mind when you are deciding how much to deposit. To clear the bonus you must play 5 times the bonus in raked hands. For example:
The lowest limit games Interpoker has:
My first InterPoker handI log onto a table, they do not have near as many players as party poker, I had to wait for several minutes to get onto a .50/$1 No Limit table, I wanted to play the easiest table I could so I didn't lose too much trying to clear this bonus. I wait for the blind to come around so I don't waste my $1.00 I get dealt an Ace Jack suited. I am pretty happy with this. Someone bets $35.00 I panic and fold I can't afford to lose a third of my stack on one hand. The folp comes Ace, Ace, 4 the turn is a Jack. Now I am mad because I folded the nuts. InterPoker - Pot Limit Pokermaybe I should try pot limit, I get right on a .50/$1 pot limit table, I decide to watch a while before I throw away another dollar. the second hand
I decide I am not read for this pot limit game either. InterPoker - Pot Limit PokerI have to wait a minute for a table to open up then get on a $1/$2 game. At least I should not lose all my money on the first hand at this type of game. The play is a little different but I manage to play for an hour and I am up about $10 so I am happy with that. November 3, 2004 InterPokers FreerollInterpoker.com has a freeroll every Saturday it is a pretty good one. They only allow 1000 people and the prize pool is $3000, so that works out to about $3 per person entering, which is not a bad deal. The way they limit the number of people is that when 1000 people sign up they close the tournament. The last couple months more people have been playing the freeroll, you have a while to enter once the registration started, these days you don't have quite so much time. Today I set my alarm and it went off one minute before resigtration started. So I figured for one minute I could look around on the internet and I found a site about poker bots that was interesting, I looked at this site for exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Then I realized that the registration time had arrived and I quickly clicked to register then a couple seconds later I see the 1000 registered and I was rejected. So I guess you need to sign up in less than one and a half minutes, and don't surf on the internet and forget what your doing. February 26, 2005
