I was looking at some site, I can’t even remember which site it was anyway,
When I tried to leave a comment it asked me to log into this site:
http://disqus.com/ so I did and then I got to poking around and it said something about putting comments on your blog, so I clicked it and now I am trying to see how it works.

No idea what it is going to do, but I added the code in the right margin under the links.

Will be interesting to see what it actually is.

The java code actually creates a little box where people can leave comments, which is kind of cool. I may leave it and see how it goes. The comments as specific to a page so they only show up on that page.

Jabbify

I remember seeing some sites that had a shoutbox from this site: https://jabbify.com but when I went there it was too complicated for me to set up. I tried 3 or 4 times and never got what I was suppose to do.

Then I looked at the java script file that I guess they wanted you to load on your site and it was thousands of lines long. I am not sure if it has to load every time a page is called or not, but I didn’t want to take a chance.

MyShoutbox

Some of the chat programs will allow you to show everything posted on all pages, this would probably be more what I am looking for since I probably won’t have one or two comments anyway.

I remembered I have used a chat box before that I kind of liked, so I decided to set up another one to use. I got it from http://www.myshoutbox.com and it seems to work fine.

The reason I decided to switch is because this one anyone can just type in stuff and it will show on all the pages which is what I wanted because probably no one will ever use it.
