Timothy Sykes - I Signed Up
Tim made a name for himself by turning his $12,415 Bar Mitzvah Gift money into $1.65 million from 1999 to 2002 by trading penny stocks.
He then founded the Cilantro Fund Management hedge fund in 2003, when he ran until late 2007. The fund was doomed by an ill-advised investment in Cygnus, which ultimately brought down the entire fund. This ruined years of strong results and hard work that Timothy Sykes had put into the fund.
He has a newsletter and also sends out an alert when he himself makes a trade intra-day with his intended play. The idea is for the subscribers to be able to follow along and profit from it.
TIMAlert service costs $29.95
Timothy Sykes also has 4 other websites TimAlerts, Pennystocking, Shortstocking and TimRaw.
He offers TimAlerts, which is his real-time trade alert service. This service is available for $29.95 a month, or $297 for the entire year. According to his web site, TimAlerts is currently up 165% in 2008.

I got to thinking about it and decided for $30 I could afford to take the risk to see if there was anything to his shortselling newsletter, and alert service.
I think he send out emails, which are very slow, so I am not sure how this is going to work out. But I should start getting them tomorrow so I will find out.
