Two More Ways How Not To Get Traffic
|
Traffic that you won't see at your web site, here is how.
I now know two more ways
how not to get traffic to your web site:
-
Method number one, everyday I read about ways
to drive traffic to your web site. When I see something that looks
interesting then I give it a try.
Yesterday I read about how
you can post comments in Google answers and then add your web
site this will show up in the google index instantly and add traffic to
your web site.
I then went and signed up for google answers
and registered an account. After that hassle I look through and spend
about 2 hours thinking up some great answers for topics that I happen to
be an expert on.
I then spend another hour
making sure I had the best answers possible before I posted
them.
Today I look and my beautiful
answers have all been deleted. Google
leaves a bunch of crap in there that is spam, and they delete my
well thought out informative
answers. That really pissed me off.
-
Method number two, posting your link in the
news groups. I have seen this talked about a lot also
so I decided to give it a try. I found a
relevelant topic and posted some great posts in a very
poplular news group 2 weeks
ago. Today I checked and from the
12 posts that I made I have received exactly 9 visitors for each post.
108 visitors in two week from 12 posts,
most of the visitors came in the first 2 days. I
think I got a couple of the visitors the last week, so I can assume
this will be most all of the volume that I will
get. I am not sure what it would cost to
buy 108 clicks from some service but my guess is it would be a couple
bucks. If you were going to make these
posts anyway then these 108 people would be free traffic, but if your
counting your time to post then your probably making .50 cents on
hour or
something like that.
I hate to even think it but I am starting to wonder now if spam would
be more productive that my current promotion methods.

Money Making Web SiteMy first thoughts
were to figure out how to write web pages and try to make money selling
web sites or free lance programming for people who want to set up a site
on the internet. Feb 5, 2005
PostNuke CMS
not that hard to set up, looks like a useful piece of software.
